1. All accredited ALSs can vote for all positions. Observers do not vote.
2. The candidate who gets a plurality (simple majority) of weighted of  votes wins.
3. This virtual voting will require a quorum of at least 50% of the active ALSs. The quorum is calculated using the number of ALSs casting valid votes, including "abstentions" if any, divided by the number of ALSs accredited in the region x 100.

Special rules for choosing the Chair Elect this year:

For the election of the Chair Elect, the draft rules on resignation cases will apply (Article 19). The position became vacant this year with the resignation of the Chair - Elect in 2019.

Para la elección del Vice Presidente se aplicará las reglas borradores sobre casos de renuncia (Artículo 19).  La posición quedó vacante este año con la renuncia del viceVice - Presidente elegido en 2019.
