1) Describe the Trip in sufficient detail
that an interested reader could understand Who,
What, When, Where, and Why concerning this
funded CROP activity (please be as expansive
as possible):

This was the fourth  NDIA  event in Cleveland Ohio and it had 400 attendees from various parts of the US.  The conference focuses on  Internet connectivity in poor, tribal, rural and urban communities.  The group aims to put pressure on municipal, state and federal governments to provide low cost  Internet access to their communities.

Our interest was to reach out to the various representatives from Rural, Tribal and Special Interest groups which attended the event as attendees or speakers who would be interested in NARALO.  Over 3 days  we had a combination of keynotes, panel discussions and lighting talks on various activities which demonstrated how communities are working in partnership with their ISP's, Government, libraries and community partners to improve connectivity

2) Explain the extent to which the Proposed
Goals and Outcomes were accomplished
(see above LINK to review the original Proposal):

Its our first attendance at this event and it didn't disappoint.  The passion and commitment of the attendees was tantamount.

Our objectives were

  1. Raise the awareness of NARALO among the attendees
  2. Distribute NARALO brochures to interested attendees
  3. Promote NARALO/ICANN  to the organizers as  future speakers
  4. Target the  sessions on  Special Needs and Tribal participation

Results

  1.  Made excellent contacts with the  Chair and executive director for future involvement
  2. Participates in the  Digital Awareness week in May
  3. Contacts with 20 persons in tribal connectivity interested in the Global Indigenous Fellowship and NARALO participation
  4. Direct engagement with 15 persons on Digital inclusion and Special Needs for organization membership
  5. Networking during the day and evening promoting the awareness of ICANN to dozens of folks

The goals and objectives were met and exceeded
