Trip Assessment Form

1) Describe the Trip in sufficient detail
that an interested reader could understand if/how
the original purpose(s) and outcome(s) were
realized (please be as expansive as possible):

This trip to Marrakech to attend ICANN 65 was an amazing experience. Note that it was my first ICANN meeting. I met a lot of amazing people, from different country, different culture, it was rewarding.

My company is member of BC-ICANN since 2017, and one of my big problem was all the acronyms used in ICANN. I was lost. This opportunity I had to attend ICANN 65 was like a deliverance because I knew more about BC-ICANN and ICANN in general. I found a way to know the definition of their acronym and I knew more about their operation.

I had the chance to meet an amazing woman, a legend, a dictionary called Marilyn Cade. She was my main mentor during the meeting and I want to thank her for the help. I would like to thank her for her precious time that she granted me.

Jimson Olufuye and Arinola Akinyemi from Nigeria and also member of BC-ICANN was always available for me during this trip. I learned from their experience.

After ICANN 65, I’ve the motivation to be more engaged in the community, I saw the importance of policy in our world and I want to contribute, I understand a little bit more the importance to be part of such community and be active member. BC-ICANN members are available to help new comer and I know that It's a question of time to contribute more. I can say that the original purpose and outcome were realized.

2) Describe the details of your attendance
and
activities at the meeting (including sessions
attended, written or oral contributions made to
specific sessions, etc.):
