Purpose and Goals: The West African Internet Governance Forum is a annual gathering or event to promote Internet Governance issues in West Africa through a multi-stakeholder process. In this light, this purpose of this trip is to engange in an outreach mission at the Forum, where I will be creating an awareness to relevant stakeholders on the new Initiatives taken by ICANN and the role of the African Regional At large Organization within ICANN. , this Mission will also be an opportunity to updates participants at the forum on the Africa Strategy and perspectives on ICANN's social responsibility programs in Africa.

Recruit at least five new African ALS. Establish a framework for cooperation between the West African Internet Governance Forum and AFRALO
12) Additional Information (optional):

As Secretary of AFRALO, I have taken a serious note of ICANN 52, which is taking place in Africa. Therefore, there are lots to be done in preparation, such as mobilizing some of the major stakeholders in Africa to attend and participate in this event.

At this event, I am looking forward for effective networking with key stakeholder who will be attending this Forum.

I have already expressed interest in promoting NextGen@ICANN at ICANN 52. My task now is to identify universities and institution that will be participating in the NextGen@ICANN during ICANN 52 in Morocco. This could be an important forum to help with this task.
