Action Items and Notes:
Review of ATLAS I and ATLAS II.
ATLAS III needs to be fit for purpose. Not a repeat of ATLAS I or II.
At-Large, and ICANN as an organization, are in a new age.
ATLAS III will look at individuals. Will look at potential leaders. It will be an assembly of future leaders to be thought leaders and change agents. This is within the context of the At-Large Review Implementation.
Timeline was explained. 1 May is deadline for all applications.
Supported travelers will be required to complete a series of prerequisites.
The courses will need to be completed prior to applying for travel support.
The Program Sub-Group will develop the program for the entire ATLAS III as including the roadmap on how the sessions all fit together.
The Program will consist of plenaries, break out groups, networking events.
Three sub-teams:
A) Capacity Building leading to ATLAS III
B) Program
C) Expected Outcomes
The Purpose and Organizing Committee Preparation as well as Goals and Objectives were discussed.
Next calls will be with the individual sub-groups.
ATLAS III issues will be discussed during ICANN63 in Kobe.
