Durban AIs: See ALAC and At-Large Action Items 14-19 July Workspace
- All RALOs are to look at the ALS application form so as to ensure that it is accessible and easier to use. Dev Anand Teelucksingh, Garth Bruen, Holly Raiche, Glenn McKnight, Aziz Hilali, and Wolf Ludwig will work on this task.
- The Excom encourages a discussion of the Cross – RALO Policy Development Workspace during their next Cross – RALO Teleconference.
- At-Large Regional Leadership Meeting
- Matt Ashtiani is to work with the At-Large community on the development of a Beginner's Guide for the ALSes with the aim of producing it by the Buenos Aires Meeting.
- Silvia Vivanco is to work with the RALO officers on identifying a set time for the monthly Secretariat Meetings between Durban and London meetings.
3. Issues for discussion:
Issue 1) - In - reach activities
Issue 2) - RALO capacity building issues
Issue 3) - Outreach activities – recruitment of the ALS.
4. Amendment of each RALO Rules of Procedure to be consistent with the new ALAC ROPs.
5. Role of ICANN Regional VPs vis- a -vis the RALOs.
6. RALOs and respective RIRs – Examples: AFRALO - AFRINIC; LACNIC - LACRALO . Other RALOs (APRALO and EURALO)
7. Discussion on the use of the Cross-RALO Workspace. This space is to provide an overview of main issues of concern for each RALO and place to exchange ideas and initiatives.
8. Next steps: Setting up a recurring day/time for the next teleconference.
