Observations
1. Raised awareness of NARALO to larger community
2. Opportunity of building relations within group
3. Slideshow wasn't really used at the table but the slideshow is available for the website and distribution
4. Business cards collected and in Garth's possession for followup
5. We need our ALAC and officers to reach back down the ladder by being part of the on-the-ground recruitment in the future
7. No NARALO appropriate swag or giveaways, need budget and thought
8 No assigned budget for the outreach
9 Shared space with MYICANN had it's plus and minuses
Conclusion
We have two or three interested new ALS, This is huge compared to all of 2012 applications.
We are developing an overall communication strategy which will include assistance with the application process and continuous engagement with the community.
As all marketing the direct and indirect impacts are hard to measure we ran out of English ALAC applications
It takes alot of effort to raise awareness and more time to close a sale
The next steps for followup is required
In general say, this was a great learning experience and we can use it to develop our overall recruitment strategy
