Seth Greene: WT B CHAT:  12 JAN 2011
Seth Greene: Hello, everyone.
Matthias Langenegger: Hi Seth
Seth Greene: Hello, Matthias.
Seth Greene: I've just lost the call, so will dial back.
clo: CaN NOT hear Seth ( if that is who is talking)
Yaovi Atohoun: I am online now and sorry to be late
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: Hi
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: sorry for joining late
clo: Honestly
Yaovi Atohoun: quality of my line bad today and loosing part of the interventions today but will look at the minutes after the call
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: where on the wiki is the review of technologies in 7.2?
clo: ONGOING  work  on these areas  and Yes a page oin the Wiki is a thong that needs to be done
clo: thong = thong
clo: thIng
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: lol
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: understood
clo: perhaps  asking  Olivier  for these proposa;s to be introduced to the ALAC  on their next meeting  might help here
clo: ALAC's  job is to facilitate  all this output
clo: We are alreADY SEEING SOME PROGRESS  (sorry CAPS)  in some of the RALO's  on some of aspects of these recommendations (that our WT is focussed on)
clo: It would need to be fully cross reional
clo: regional
clo: IOF  Agernda time does NOT permit  then Sandra. Fouad  and  Dev  etc.,  can also work directly  with the ExCom of ALAC   to further this all in a timely manner
clo: as this crosses woth Carlton's role
Gisella Gruber-White: Fouad's line dropped - we are dialling out to him again
clo: https://community.icann.org/display/Improve/At-Large+Improvements+Work+Team+B
Gisella Gruber-White: Fouad is back
clo: We just need to add the Proposals page  and have  bits filled in for each of our  recommendations
Olivier Crépin-Leblond: me too. :-)
Olivier Crépin-Leblond: sorry. Professionally said: +1
Olivier Crépin-Leblond: There are an increasing number of free tools out there which can make our life easier to manage ALAC/At-Large/RALOs. Certainly being able to synchronize calendars is a great first step. I must say that since Cheryl & I sat together & Gisella and Cheryl introduced me to the Google Calendar synchronisation with the At-LArge calendar, I am less worried and stressed about tracking what is going on
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: http://support.twitter.com/entries/76460-how-to-use-twitter-lists
clo: http://www.twibes.com/category/technology
clo: http://blog.twibes.com/twitter-tools/top-twitter-lists
clo: here is what this blog says  Dev...=>We think lists sound very cool, and can’t wait to get access. However, we see a big difference between a Twitter list and a Twibes group. Multiple people have described Twibes as ”giving twitter a purpose”. This is because Twibes groups enable them to both find people with similar interests, and communicate with them. Additionally, twibes message threading and embedding features allow groups to become micro-communities, or a good way to simply find people from an existing Web community on Twitter
clo: Does that help Dev
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: Thanks, will review. A slight worry is of course twibes is third party while twitter lists is integrated/developed by twitter itself
Seth Greene: Thank you, all.  Have good days/evenings.
