13) Additional Information (optional): | In the main, my interest in internet governance is personal and not necessarily professional, per se. Although, my litigation practice has started to briefly touch on aspects of internet-related defamation claims. I am new to the internet governance space and from the Commonwealth Caribbean which in many ways is under-represented in fora including the ICANN GNSO. I am hoping to get relevant hands-on experiences in helping to formulate and direct the policy direction of the ICANN GNSO and by doing so, meaningfully increase my own understanding of the role and thrust of ICANN in general and the GNSO in particular. I am a member of the Steering Committee for the Formation of an Internet Society Chapter in Barbados. Our application has been submitted to ISOC and is now going through the approval/review process. Additionally, I am a professional member of the Barbados ICT Professionals Association. |
