10) Proposed Goals and Outcomes:

35 cities acquired their TLDs subsequent to the 2012 application period. With the renewed issuance of TLDs, many cities will be considering their acquisition. The goal in attending this National League of Cities conference is to inform attendees from hundreds of U.S. cities of the history of city TLDs, the potential features and benefits of their operation, and the possible process for acquisition. Our intent will be suggest that the application development process of interested cities include a multistakeholder process. And that, on an ongoing basis, an At-Large structure be established to enable the city's Internet users to communicate about the TLDs effective operation.
11) Additional Information (optional):

I will represent Connecting.nyc Inc. an At-Large Structure and inform attendees via a variety of channels. If practicable we'd like to have a table at this conference/convention. A second member of our organization will accompany Mr. Lowenhaupt.
