Current ALS Applications :
H Ullrich was asked to coordinate the ALS application process with the regional Secretariats to ensure that all votes on current ALS applications can start on time.
Request for Staff to rewrite the motion to be put for ALS votes to make it clearer. Nick to send draft to Alan for review before sending on to ALAC.
Meeting Transcriptions and Summary of adopted Motions :
Staff was requested to provide a short summary of all adopted motions during ALAC teleconferences in English, French and Spanish. In addition to that, action items in English, French and Spanish and a transcription of the meeting in English will be provided for all ALAC calls.
Staff will link transcriptions from previous meetings to the agenda pages as a reference document.
The way forward on IRT :
Staff will work with Cheryl and Hong to include the APRALO input on the IRT on the IRT wiki.
List with the advantages of being an ALAC member :
Carlos was asked to post the document that was recently drafted in LACRALO. Adam Peake was asked to comment on the document within the next 14 days.
Draft Description of ALAC Position and Liaison :
RALO leaders are requested to ask their regions to comment on Alan’s Draft Description either by email or directly on the wiki wiki
Post-Expiration Domain Name Recovery WG :
Alan will send around a note asking for broader participation and input from the At-Large community and ask for additional participants for the PEDNR. Staff will also send the mail to the alac-announce list.
NomCom Nominations
Cheryl will be writing to Tricia to let her know that the delay of the NomCom affects the election calls for ALAC liaisons and appointments.
Next ALAC Meeting :
Gisella will send out a Doodle to plan another ALAC teleconference next week to discuss remaining agenda items from today’s meeting. Also, Staff will explore whether it is possible to combine the next call with a discussion with RALO leaders, Kevin Wilson and Steve Antonoff on Seoul preparations, travel support and regional GAs within available resources.
