- Dev Anand Teelucksingh shared some proposals to solve the issues:
-To implement a special code or phrase such as --END- so the tool would know it does not need to translate the entire email.
- Third party tool : https://mailparser.io
- Dev also proposed outsourcing to a third party translation service that would get the text and send it back (cost associated).
- Mark Segall will let us know at the end of this week if we will have some dedicated resources to investigate the tool, review the logs, and do the required analysis.
- Mark Segall will investigate if we can receive weekly or daily logs of emails that actually did not translate.
- Heidi Ullrich suggested to have a re-training of the Best practices to write and use the tool which can be presented in the LACRALO monthly call.
- -Dev Anand Teelucksingh will find the presentation made in 2017 and will use it to present at LACRALO's call, in coordination with Harold and Sergio.
- Harold Arcos will be on both lists and will monitor emails, he will post in both lists EN and ES to ensure that important emails are not lost.
- Yesim Nazlar will send a doodle out to this group to set up a call next week.
