This section is to collect, review and update information about
- ICANN ;
- background behind DNS and IP numbering, domain names ;
- information about some of the key policy issues engaging ICANN (new gTLDs, WHOIS, etc) ;
- the participation opportunities at ICANN (remote participation, public comments, F2F meetings, fellowships)
all geared for persons not aware of ICANN or its policy issues.
A lot of this information may be available from ICANN already, but such information needs to be reviewed by this WG if such material would achieve the desired understanding.
