Phase 3 Introduction
After completion of Phase 1 and 2 of the IDN Variant Program, ICANN created a program plan for next steps. After a public comment process and a presentation in a session at the ICANN meeting in Costa Rica in March 2012, the program plan was updated and posted for another round of public comment process. The final updated program plan was posted with an announcement. http://www.icann.org/en/news/announcements/announcement-23aug12-en.htm Below is the current program plan with three projects in progress.
The three projects are being executed by three project teams with coordination effort at the Program level.
