Chaitanya Ramachandran, ISOC-Delhi | Focus Area 1: Agreed to help with localization of ICANN materials into Hindi. | [Completed] Completed translation of materials under ICANN's Language Localization Pilot into Hindi, which is an official language of India and the major native language across northern India. Translated slides: 2.1 Universal Acceptance of all TLDs (Hindi) 2.2 Internationalized Domain Names (Hindi) [Work in progress] ISOC Delhi is also currently planning outreach events in the local community. Will include the translated materials as handouts at any such events, and will also try to share outcomes. |
