Notes:

  1. Welcome from the Chair
  • The CCOICI has not ended – it has more work to do and possible further assignments.
  • Your groups should review and confirm membership – see action item above.

2. GNSO Framework for Continuous Improvement Pilot: Develop a survey for CCOICI and Task Force current and former members

Suggested draft questions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MLHZJEybTLVEatR6QZz0vKRcY4FdeGe8UO0zb-j_Qk8/edit?usp=sharing [docs.google.com]

Discussion:

  • Avoid double-barrel questions – break them out.
  • Free-form open text feedback – make more targeted and combine with a quantitative response (such as yes/no).
  • Should agree what the response should look like and make sure the questions are clear.
  • Q#4 – need context of the proceeding questions?
  • Don’t go longer than 10 minutes.
  • Target CCOICI and TF current and former members.
  • Regarding audience, I’d suggest that the audience be 1) Council 2) distribution to SG/C chairs to have their respective groups respond in a formal capacity. I’m particularly keen on the SGs/Cs because if this CCOCCI does continue, it is likely to require more SG/C resources to do the brunt of the work, and less on the Council.
  • Consideration of the structure is even more important because of the upcoming activity of the CIP-CCG.  Could be helpful to expand the survey to get feedback for that group?   Could refer back to the questions coming out of the recent ATRT.
  • Makes sense to ask about the future structure/process.
  • Who should be drafting the questions? Contribute to the Google doc.
  • Staff will assist in drafting questions and designing the survey.
