The NARALO Roundtable will host two panel sessions. Guest speakers will bring a variety of perspectives to these topics and the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions:


  • Topic 1 :Theme :"Government efforts to expand Broadband Access in the US and Canada" will explore and critique federal, state and local initiatives to make broadband more available, affordable and usable. The panel will look at different approaches taking place in urban, rural and Indigenous communities and how these efforts are progressing, including programs seeking to improve access, financial affordability, device availability and end user activation.

  • Topic 2: “Challenges and Opportunities for the Internet 2023: The End User Perspective”: This panel will consider some Big Questions for the Internet – Past, Present, and Future -- with a particular focus on the relationship between the DNS and the End User experience.  The panel will examine some major concerns and issues, along with possible solutions, innovations and the inevitable evolution of the Internet. What will the future of the Internet bring for End Users? How will the DNS shape that future? How can End Users influence the DNS? We’ll find out!
