In 2016, a Board A Board Working Group on Registration Directory Services and SO/ACs held discussions to address concerns raised with respect to the expected workload and community bandwidth. Given the numerous WHOIS related activities underway, it was suggested that SO and ACs review and weigh in on a limited scope proposal put together that would potentially allow the RDS-WHOIS2 Review to be conducted more effectively and minimize the impact on the community. To date, the GAC and GNSO have both provided written responses and included suggestions for areas the Review Team could focus on.
