Beran Gillen:@ seun go to your skype and dial this number 18005506865

  seun:thanks

Beran Gillen:then enter conf id 1638

Mercy:May i request a dial out on this number +27126441699, my internet seems to be unstable

  Terri Agnew:@Mercy, will do

  Beran Gillen:@seun are u in?

Mercy:The phone is even worse cant here a thing

  Barrack Otieno:i agree with Tijani

Barrack Otieno:Since we have a Communications department they can assist in refining the flyer

Barrack Otieno:my thoughts are the Flyer is simple and great

Silvia Vivanco:The FR version of the flyer can go on the other side

Barrack Otieno:we need an electronic version and paper

Heidi Ullrich:It will be our pleasure to do so

Barrack Otieno:to circulate in our networks

Heidi Ullrich:We can contact the Communications Team re the logo and the cost

Silvia Vivanco:I have noted this as an AI

Beran Gillen:i think we should have a lighter background

  Barrack Otieno:indeed Heidi +1

Heidi Ullrich:Could the other side be FRench? So one side EN and the other side FR?

  Fatimata:Thanks Heidi

Barrack Otieno:Makes sense Heidi, it will save on cost

Barrack Otieno:especially where printing is required

Silvia Vivanco:And @ Fatimata how many copies you would like to have ?

  Silvia Vivanco:200? 400?

Silvia Vivanco:and the other side can be made in FR

Silvia Vivanco:so we have one side in FR/ the other side in EN?

Fatimata:Yes, we want a FR version too

  Beran Gillen:+1 silvia

  Terri Agnew:Welcome Ronald Ojino

Barrack Otieno:Hi Fatimata, we need many 400 is a good number

  Barrack Otieno:Welcome Ronald

  Fatimata:Yes, 400 is a good number

  Fatimata:Welcome Ronald

Ronald Ojino:Hi all, sorry am late..thanks Terri, Barrack

  Barrack Otieno:send them to Afrinic

Barrack Otieno:we can get them from them

  Beran Gillen:welcome Ronald

Barrack Otieno:they can be included in the gift packs

Heidi Ullrich:When is the AFRINIC Meeting?

  Beran Gillen:@Heidi next week

Fatimata:Bravo Ronald for the good job

Ronald Ojino:Merci Fatimata, il make the suggested changes by Gisella on mail

Barrack Otieno:The flyers should be sent to Afrinic so that they can be included in the gift packs

Silvia Vivanco:@ Fatimata, normally it takes 1 month to have documents printed professionally

  Heidi Ullrich:Thanks for the dates

Barrack Otieno:ok, i think this Afrinic meeting is too soon

Silvia Vivanco:the alternative is to print it in normal paper

  Silvia Vivanco:in Africa

Heidi Ullrich:I would suggest that they are printed locally

Heidi Ullrich:at least for the AFRINIC meeting

  Silvia Vivanco:Yes + 1 Heidi locally

  Silvia Vivanco:for now

  Barrack Otieno:+1

Heidi Ullrich:there is not enough time to print them in the US and then ship them.

Barrack Otieno:We can request Afrinic for support?

Heidi Ullrich:If you printed them on heavier paper, they would look good.

Barrack Otieno:or ICANN Staff in Africa - Bob/Yaovi

  Barrack Otieno:sounds good Heidi

Fatimata:Yes, Heidi.  I hope we can  make it

Heidi Ullrich:Good point, Barrack. staff can ask.

Heidi Ullrich:However, we first need confirmation that the ICANN logo can be used. Alternatively, we can move the At-Large logo up to the top.

Barrack Otieno:Yes Aziz, there will be an ICANN meeting

  Barrack Otieno:Chaired by Pierre Dandjinou

Heidi Ullrich:WE also need to get the document translated into French.

Heidi Ullrich:that will take about one week.

Heidi Ullrich:or at least several days.

Beran Gillen:i suggest we have it in A5 size

Beran Gillen:flyers are usually that size

Heidi Ullrich:We are not hearing you, Barrack

Terri Agnew:Barrack has disconnected, from audio, we are trying to dial back out to him

Beran Gillen:@Heidi if we can agree and finalize design today we can go ahead and start french translation

  Heidi Ullrich:Great, Beran!

Barrack Otieno:I am saying we can liase with Afrinic/ICANN staff on printing the Flyers, it will be good if they can be included in the delegates pack and distributed

  Barrack Otieno:to participants

Ronald Ojino:As long as the final changes are sent on time, they can be incorporated

  Barrack Otieno:indeed

Terri Agnew:Barrack is back on EN channel

Barrack Otieno:i am sorry i forgot to put my hand down, i did not get tired :-)

  Barrack Otieno:thanks  Terry

Silvia Vivanco:The problem seems to be if we print in the US we won't have time to ship them and to reach Africa

Silvia Vivanco:someonne local needs to print them there

  Barrack Otieno:indeed Silvia

Barrack Otieno:this should be done in Mauritius preferably

Barrack Otieno:is it something we can wor on with Afrinic?

Silvia Vivanco:correct Barrack printed in Mauritius

  Barrack Otieno:or Pierre Danjinou?

Silvia Vivanco:where is Pierre at the moment? does he have the logistics to print it?

Ronald Ojino:Glossy paper would be perfect

Barrack Otieno:Best approach is to request the Afrinic Communications department through the GSE office (Africa office)

Terri Agnew:@Fatimata, we are unable to hear you

Mercy:Courier service seems to be expensive so I was suggesting we distribute the flyer electronically and in cases where we require hard copies we can map a way to transfer funds for printing to whoever would be the contact person at that location

Mercy:Because in some cases the courier costs can be more than having copies printed locally

Terri Agnew:@all, Fatimata has disconnected from adobe

Barrack Otieno:Fatimata is not on Adobe

Beran Gillen:Fatimata is back on AC

Terri Agnew:Fatimata is back on AC

Beran Gillen:@Terri funny we said the same thing at the same time

Heidi Ullrich:Would 100 copies be enough for the AFRINIC Meeting?

Barrack Otieno:we can have that as an action point

Barrack Otieno:Heidi maybe 200 at the very least

Barrack Otieno:they can be included in the delegate packs

Beran Gillen:I just have a few suggestions on the presentation

Ronald Ojino:+1 Barrach, it would be a good mode of distribution

Barrack Otieno:Beran, i think you can send the suggestions through the working group for inclusion in the final document

Barrack Otieno:I would like to speak

  Barrack Otieno:about Outreach activities

Barrack Otieno:Je voudrais parle sil vous plait :-)

  Fatimata:Oui Barrack, apres Beran

  Barrack Otieno:daccord

Silvia Vivanco:Please designate someone to edit the flyer and send us the very FINAL version and we can put it in the wiki

Barrack Otieno:Outreach activities in Africa -10 minMajor Events Africa Internet Summit - AFRALO workshopAfrica Internet Governance forum - AFRALO SessionRegional IGF's - EAIGF/WAIGF/SAIGF/CAIGF

Silvia Vivanco:@ Barrack we can send you the AFRALO flyers already  done and ready

  Silvia Vivanco:for those events

Silvia Vivanco:let me know where to send them to

Silvia Vivanco:and we can send you  some from USa

Ronald Ojino:je voudrais continue avec le presentation if u can send all the suggestions on time

Barrack Otieno:ok Silvia, i will arrive in Mauritius on Sunday

Barrack Otieno:I would suggest you send them to Afrinic, i cancollect them from Afrinic Staff

  Barrack Otieno:Fatimata

Barrack Otieno:we could include this in the work plan

Barrack Otieno:so that we identify members of our ALS's who will be attending this meetings

Barrack Otieno:and who can conduct outreach on our behalf

  Barrack Otieno:@ Silvia

Barrack Otieno:sorry i did not see the message

  Barrack Otieno:no problem

Barrack Otieno:We have the ICANN Manager for East Africa

Barrack Otieno:the documents can be sent to him

Barrack Otieno:i can then collect them from Bob Ochieng

Barrack Otieno:It is good for ALS's to have this document i support this proposal

Heidi Ullrich:Do any of the AFRALO Leaders have copies of the AFRALO Brochure with them?

  Heidi Ullrich:AFRALO brochure: https://community.icann.org/display/AFRALO/AFRALO+Brochure

Heidi Ullrich:Both should be used together

Heidi Ullrich:so AFRALO can do outreach for new leaders as well as new ALSes :)

  Silvia Vivanco:Did you hear me?

  Barrack Otieno:indeed Heidi

  Terri Agnew:Fatimata has disconnected

Silvia Vivanco:I will check if we can send you the AFRALO flyer already done

  Silvia Vivanco:in the meantime

Barrack Otieno:I think we need to consolidate the work plan

  Barrack Otieno:once we get approval

  Terri Agnew:Fatimata is back

  Heidi Ullrich:Thanks/Merci!!

  Barrack Otieno:Bye

  Barrack Otieno:merci tout lel monde

  Beran Gillen:thank you
