I hope this email finds you well. We held a consensus call to decide how the vote in the Final Election of the ICANN Board Director selected by At-Large would be conducted.
It was agreed during the AFRALO monthly call and on the Afri-discuss mailing list that the AFRALO Chair, Aziz Hiliali, would vote on behalf of AFRALO ALSes without the direction of ALSes.

Simple majority. An electorate member can only choose one Candidate.
Result Interpretation
The Candidate with the highest votes, which must exceed 50% of the vote cast, becomes the ICANN Board Director Candidate selected by EURALO. EURALO Chair Olivier Crepin-Leblondwill vote for the successful Candidate in the Final Election.
Tie Breaking
Olivier Crepin-Leblond will cast an extra vote to break the tie and inform At-Large Staff via email about his choice.
Vote Change
Once a vote has been casted in BigPulse, change is not allowed.
