RESOLVED THAT while the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) continues to support in principle the creation of new gTLDs, it must convey to the ICANN Board and community the dismay of At-Large with the new gTLD program in its current form, and explicitly advises that its implementation would be harmful to the public interest and specifically that of Internet end-users. We request that implementation of the program be suspended temporarily until necessary public-interest modifications are implemented to address the end-user concerns noted above.
