Interesting point, Chris. The same relates to the meaning of names of streets, cities, persons. There has to be found a way to distinguish between the name and its meaning .

Writing that, I realize that there could theoretically be issues with contact information in the Latin script. For example, is there a Latin-script language where the names
of streets etc. are commonly translated? I have never seen French rue, Spanish calle, German Straße etc. translated as “street”.

Note that the Latin script is used for a huge number of languages e.g. in Africa, and so it may be difficult to say that no language is happy to have its equivalents of "street" etc. translated into English.
