10) Proposed Goals and Outcomes:

Content Guidelines (click here)

1.  To promote and connect the GeoIGF as an NRI (national/regional initiative) of the Asia Pacific regional IGF (APrIGF) to which APRALO is a major contributor in terms of organisation and content, and to whose NRI workshop APRALO will be able to contribute at the Global IGF in Geneva.

2. Based on my personal background in the finance industry, to share my experiences and provide support for ICANN-related Internet governance issues of relevance to the digital economy (for example, online payment fraud and other cyber-security issues)

3.  To raise awareness of ICANN-related IG topics, particularly Multistakeholderism, Accessibility, DNSSEC, in order to engage community groups with internet governance and the support that can be given from within ICANN, APRALO and At-Large

4. To develop a personal relationship between the leadership team of APRALO and the Georgian ALS (and its wider community) that will encourage local engagement and participation in  ICANN/ALAC/At-Large/APRALO activities.

The following are the expected outcomes :

1.     Represent APRALO, At-Large and ICANN in GeoIGF 2017 so as to present ICANN-related Internet Governance perspectives

2.     Strengthen the existing APRALO member ALS in the country and attract others to join the ALS or alternatively to join APRALO as Individual Members

3.     Participate as a resource person in the GeoIGF, especially in relation to the digital economy
