GOALS: Evaluate the actions carried out by the working groups, develop the strategic plan 2020 - 2024 of LACRALO. This allows us to carry out actions, build vision and develop plans to increase participation, develop skills and growth of the members of the region. In Universal Acceptance session will present the progress of the plans and strategic of the different working group and continue advancing in the growth of knowledge and engagement to the Universal Acceptance.

OUTCOMES:  We will increase the commitment of the LAC region in the ICANN policy development process, promoting the linking of 10 new members of our ALS to the CPWG. We will foster spaces for interaction between the LAC community to promote knowledge and participation within the ICANN ecosystem and especially within LACRALO, through a bi-monthly newsletter and our 3 social networks that reach a target audience of 350 people. We will develop and execute strategies to increase the participation of the ALS members of LACRALO and promote the incorporation of 3 new ALS and 5 new individual members. Continue with the training program on ICANN and its scholarship and universal acceptance programs with which we seek to train 50 people, especially young people, members of indigenous peoples, ethnic minorities and diverse population in the Latin American and Caribbean region, with the GT support for capacity development and staff. Finally, a read out and we hope to reach the goal of 40 participating members of our ALS to inform you about the achievements of this participation.

I submit this request for to Attend the first face-to-face meeting of the extended board of LACRALO, as Chair of the Communications WG. In addition, to attend the sessions scheduled by Universal Acceptance Stering Group as Vice Chair of the Communications WG, to attend, like a member, the face-to-face meeting of the NomCom Review WG and the At Large sessions.
