Engagement / Outreach.

  1. Building local/regional awareness and recruitment of new community members;
  2. More effectively engaging with current members and/or "reactivating” previously engaged ICANN community members; and
  3. Communicating ICANN’s mission and objectives to new audiences.

Engagement in AFRINIC Policy discussion.

Hopefully, at the acceptance of my proposal, I will be making a presentation and ICANN which always have where i can support the AFRALO outreach engagement and the booth in this event is free of charge for outreach. AFRALO material that will be provided by our At-Large staff and Regional GSE will be distributed. This will enhance the ICANN credibility by showing that the ICANN community participate actively by providing a substantial and valuable contribution. It also gives it more visibility. On the other hand this is a strong effort of outreach in a country where AFRALO can get more support from other African ALS

10) Additional Information (optional):

Invitation Postcards and fliers will be distributed from the booth welcoming members to the AFRALO ICANN meeting.
