3.   How to Use the At-Large New gTLD Application Dashboard - Dev Anand Teelucksingh (20 min)

4.   Question and Answers - All (20 min)

  • DAT: The batch number will only be available after June 13 as this is when the batchings will be released.
  • DAT: Templates can be created but the comments sections must be created manually
  • DAT: The objections ground have been kept separate purposefully
  • RV: I am concerned as to who will actually be doing this work
  • CS: It seems as if this work can be done more easily
  • CS: Would there be a way to have a more sortable table? So one can see major concerns initially?
  • RP: As you get more granular, the more intensive the management of it.
  • CS: I want to easily ascertain the information. I believe it should be in one, easy to access location. If we are creating numerous wiki pages to do all of this, there has to be some way for me to consolidate and evaluate the information that I have. If I see a string that has objections and it is heavily objected to by a certain community, I will look into this specific community. However, if there is one with a variety of communities objecting, there is a different situation at hand.
  • DAT: It must be noted that each objection ground is a different application.
  • DAT: We will not allow anonymous comments
  • CS: In much the same way, because I know, to make an official objection from the At-Large, there is a process that must be seen through before it comes an official objection, I would rank the objection.
  • CS: This is turning out to be a full time job. This is not something manageable by a volunteer. As such, there will be gaps in performance due to the amount of time it will take to read through every comment, find the metadata, access each comment, make a rational determination of its value, etc. will take full time work for months.
