I have public and private experience. Most of my professional time was in a high hierarchic position as Director, General Manager, Board Member and nowadays Chair and member of several Boards in the private sector;  In special considering the IGO WT I have been President of Brazilian Patent Office and as such negotiate at WIPO as well as Mercosur and WTO the new patent law, I was responsible for the Congress approval os such Law, under TRIPS as well as helped, together with WIPO, at the time, some countries to understand and encourage them to set new laws under TRIPS:  Mozambique, Peru, Uruguay, Bulgaria and Finland.  Since I have also twice acted as National Secretary for the Federal Government, both related to Technology I have also been involved with negotiation at WTO and IADB for LAC region, in order to face litigation at WTO against our IT law. Hence, I have reasonable knowledge of Intellectual Property laws and International negotiation under international law. More recently I have been implementing a digital transformation to the larger Arbitration and Mediation organization in Latin America, located in Sao Paulo – CAM- CCBC – and as such I needed to understand and go deeply into the arbitration and mediation process. Moreover CAM-CCBC is also the agent of dispute mediation for .br ( the ccTLD for Brazil)

To facilitate. here a resume: i am acting as volunteer in ICANN since 2000 - have been: GAC Vice Chair, ICANN Board member once selected by Noncom and other as liaison to ALAC; chair of Audit and Reconsideration committees at the time, vice chair of ALAC, Chair and member of Noncom, member of SSAC and nowadays elected member to ALAC from my region - LACRALO
