7) What does the outreach event entail (please explain in detail):

The session is designed to assist non-commercial stakeholders NGOs, Not-for-Profits, and Civil Society groups to better understand how Internet Governance (IG) impacts on their work within their mission and vision. The goal is to promote greater awareness and engagement in Internet Governance policy making within ICANN, and beyond ICANN, and to promote greater understanding of NPOC as a constituency group representing the interest of NGOs within ICANN. Beyond greater awareness around Internet governance, the event focuses on greater Sub Saharan Africa NGO engagement in ICANN policy making processes, through NPOC, and on assistance from NPOC to support a broader and deeper Sub Saharan Africa engagement in Internet Governance.

The Cropp Funding Budget of USD7,500 from ICANN shall cover the following, Venue Cost, Flights for Host and Accommodation in Dakar for 3 nights, organizer/ rapporteur, event coffee breaks / lunch, facilitation and local logistics for event.
