There is a MOU signed between AFRALO and AFRINIC.
The upcoming Afrinic meeting will gather more than 400 participants as it will be joined with Afnog meeting and other Internet groups (Africa Internt Summit), so this event will be a good venue to broadening awareness of ICANN in targeted under-represented areas like Gabon, Guinea, Tchad, Niger, Congo Brazzaville, etc.
Those under-represented areas which will attend the event in Nairobi, represent the target people toward who the informal invitations will be given for them to become involved in ICANN stakeholder communities, working groups, and/or fellowship programs.
In addition, meeting other ICANN members and working groups during that event will be the other opportunity to share best practices and knowledge within ICANN stakeholder communities.
