Socialtext makes organizing your team's files a lot easier. You can attach files to Socialtext pages just as you can attach files to e-mails, except Socialtext pages don't get lost in your inbox. What's more, Socialtext will show you all the attachments in the workspace, making hunting around for attachments a thing of the past.

> Attach a file. An abbreviated list of the attachments to each page appears under each page title. Click on (add) next to Attachments to add a file. In the "Upload A New File:" section, you'll tell Socialtext where the file is located on your computer. Click Browse and file the file you would like to attach. Click Open, and then click Upload File.

> Including an image. To include an image, attach the image to the page. Check "Include link to attachment or embed image in page". A link will be created to display the image at the top of the page. You can edit the page afterwards to move the link to another part of the page.

> Including several files. To include several files all at once, add them all to a zip file (use WinZip or MacZip). Attach the zip file to the page. Check "Expand zip archive and attach individual files to the page". All the files in the archive will be unpacked and attached individually.

> View all workspace attachments. Select the "Attachments" link in the top menu bar to list all the attachments in the workspace. From this list of attachments you can sort, delete, and download files. The most recently uploaded attachments will be at the top.
