Action Items of 15 July 2009 ExCom Meeting
ALAC Statements
ALAC draft statements on the Systemization of Organizational Review Processes and the 2nd Report of the Board Review Working Group are to be sent out to At-Large public list for comments for 7-14 days. Although the public comment period on these issues is already closed, Wendy Seltzer will take any comments directly to the Board.
The issue of ALAC’s direct reporting or advice to the Board is to be discussed during the next ALAC meeting.
At-Large Regional Travel Funding
AG is to verify with Kevin Wilson whether the FY11 budget is correct or whether a correction needs to be made given new information. Once AG and Kevin have discussed this, the data on the estimated per-unit cost of regional travel prepared by Kevin on 14 July will either be correct or need to be corrected. Once the correct information is confirmed, it is to be sent out the ALAC for discussion.
ALAC/Liaison Position Description
AG to incorporate edits as discussed during the meeting and send to ExCom by the beginning of the week of 20 July. Document is then to be translated.
Liaison Election Call
An election call for liaison positions, first one for the Board Liaison followed shortly thereafter for the other liaison positions, need to be sent out shortly. Staff is to work Chair to draft an announcement of the upcoming election call to be sent out this week.
