Monday 17:30-19:00 UTC/ | ICANN72: GNSO CPH DNS Abuse Work Group Community Update Registries (RySG) and registrars (RrSG), both jointly and separately, have active working groups considering issues related to identifying and mitigating DNS abuse. They produce resources for the ICANN community to enhance how all can work together more effectively. They meet regularly with other stakeholder groups within the ICANN community in between ICANN meetings. This is the 3rd in a series of open meetings, for all members of the community to be informed of the recent work and to engage in an open dialogue about current concerns and potential future work. Tuesday 23:30-00:30 UTC/ | ICANN72: GNSO EPDP on Internationalized Domain Names This recently-launched GNSO Expedited Policy Development Process Team is tasked with providing the GNSO Council with policy recommendations on: 1) the definition of gTLDs and the management of variant labels; and 2) how the Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) Implementation Guidelines, which Contracted Parties are required to comply with, should be updated in the future. Tuesday 11:30-13:00 UTC/ | Session 6: Principles of Internet Governance The session deals with the principles of Internet Governance along with the background history of those norms and practices. Multistakeholderism, multilateralism, minilateralism, and the principle of enhanced cooperation are to be interpreted not as consented principles but as rhetorical strategies by the agents of Internet Governance. Political implications will be discussed among participants in the session regarding these principles and practices. With Special Guest
