Terri Agnew:ICANN58 dates 11-16 March 2017
Lutz Donnerhacke:Kopenhagen is a good choice. Easy to reach and therefore cheap ... Accomodation might be a bigger problem
sandra hoferichter:Under the outreach aspect we might consider RIPE meetings or European IG meetings as the better choice.
Lutz Donnerhacke:sandra: RIPE is very special. Those people do know enough about ICANN and are already involved into the process. Outreach would mean to do to groups which are not connected, but are as valueable .
Erich Schweighofer:Support for Oliver and Wolf.
sandra hoferichter:Exept EuroDIG I mean
Wolf Ludwig:Completely agree with Lutz!
Wolf Ludwig:NOT our target group, Olivier!
Sebastien:Why we don't try to target specific meetings in the coutries (sub-region) where we don't have member?
Wolf Ludwig:Other options in the region would be: the annual CCC meeting in Hamburg and the re:publica conference in Berlin -- both partily conducted in English as well!
Wolf Ludwig:@Séb: this immediately becomes a language problem ...
Sebastien:@Wolf I am sure we can find someone with some language knowledge in our large group. But yes that need to be figure out.
Wolf Ludwig:And SEEDIG would be an option as well, of course¨ And SEEDIG would be another option of course as well!
Erich Schweighofer:Cyberspace in Brno would be also an option.
Lutz Donnerhacke:Ack to reach out tot the white areas

Olivier Crepin-Leblond:Thanks @Silvia
Mirjana Tasic:For the new ALS , I am coming from SEE, the main problem is to provide some finance for functioning. It will be good if somewhere exists the paper with advices, how to provide basic funds for functioning.
Wolf Ludwig: @Gabriella: we are still (and for long time) looking for a Polish ALS -- was very difficult so far ;-)
Terri Agnew:Doodle for At-Large Ad-hoc WG on IANA Transition & ICANN Accountability http://doodle.com/poll/fpwu96hn8hxs6eg5
Gabriella Schittek:@Wolf: I've actually had some very interesting talks about that recently in Poland. FIngers crossed, but I'm hoping there might come some application in the next few months (but I'm not promising anything).
Lutz Donnerhacke:Sorry, I've to leave ...
Wolf Ludwig:Thanks -- good to know, Gabriella!
Silvia Vivanco:Thanks for your efforts Gabriella!
Jordi Iparraguirre:I support CW and Sebastien's proposal. We need to engage curent ALS members before looking for new ones
Gabriella Schittek:@Silvia: It's a joint interest! :-)
Wolf Ludwig:@Mirjana: SOROS Foundation was a good address for NGO support in Eastern "transition" countries so far ...
CW:Miriana - that's 'mentoring'.
