  Holly Raiche:Ssorry - will do
  Sylvia Herlein:love you
Wolf Ludwig:Sounds comparable to EURALO ;-)
Wolf Ludwig:Let's continue this discussion - But what does participation mean?
Darlene Thompson:The time zone is GREAT for North America!
  Wolf Ludwig:Good!
Heidi Ullrich:@Holly, Cheryl is confirmed to discuss the ROP item.
Oksana Prykhodko:I did not see any problems in opinion sharing for individual members
Oksana Prykhodko:They actively participate in EURALO teleconferences calls
  Heidi Ullrich:54
  Heidi Ullrich:version 54
Heidi Ullrich:@Holly, should we invite Alan as well?
Heidi Ullrich:Cheryl is the Chair of the ROP WG
Oksana Prykhodko:But there are problems with financing one of them to GA in Lisbon
Wolf Ludwig:But - please - let's limit the time for "rules nad procedures" because this is often a killer debate!
Heidi Ullrich:7 mins for ROP discussion?
  Wolf Ludwig:7 min. is reasonable -- even 8 ;-)
Heidi Ullrich:Holly, there are two groups on metrics
Heidi Ullrich:One is the ALAC Metrics WG
Darlene Thompson:And just do a recap in the meeting
Heidi Ullrich:The other is the soon to be launched new gTLD Taskforce
  Darlene Thompson:Agreed Holly
  Wolf Ludwig:Plus 1, Darlene - recap!
Heidi Ullrich:he Task Force will create its list of metrics and present it to the ALAC. The ALAC will vote on it & present it in Beijing
Heidi Ullrich:ok, HOlly is talking about the regular Metrics WG.
Darlene Thompson:I am but I missed the last meeting
Darlene Thompson:I've been traveling a lot lately for my real job
Darlene Thompson:Eduardo is part of NARALO
Heidi Ullrich:LACRALO has done a great job on capacity building presenations!
Heidi Ullrich:These capacity building presentations are a direct response to needs identified during the Costa Rica meeting.
Heidi Ullrich:Since LACRALO began these capacity building presentations, there has been a significant increase in participation
  Heidi Ullrich:as well as interaction
Silvia Vivanco:This is Jose's new WG
  Darlene Thompson:Congratulations to LACRALO!  :)
José Arce:No, thanks Sylvia. In Beijing we will be more specific
  Silvia Vivanco:on capacity building
  Heidi Ullrich:+1 Holly
Heidi Ullrich:You can see that the RALOs have started several new initatives that all could learn from
Wolf Ludwig:Sorry but Outreach and CB are two separate isues!
Heidi Ullrich:There will be also new capacity building initatives from ICANN  that will be discussed in Beijing
Silvia Vivanco:Yes, all the RALOs have initiatives for capacity building in one way or another
Darlene Thompson:No, capacity building is quite different
Sylvia Herlein:this project is more INREACH
  Sylvia Herlein:in LACRALO
  Wolf Ludwig:Yes, Silvia, I think it's closer to IN-reach.
Oksana Prykhodko:In-Reach and OUT-Reach are relaterd for me to linguistic problems
Oksana Prykhodko:Russian-speaking culture against English speaking culture its about new Dubai digital Wall(
  Silvia Vivanco:The AFRALO page
  Silvia Vivanco:above
  Heidi Ullrich:Thanks, Darlene
Silvia Vivanco:It could be used more regularly
Heidi Ullrich:The offer of a wiki page was made for ALSes that don't have web/wiki pages of their own.
Heidi Ullrich:Just putting a link to their ALS'es webpage is a great idea!
Sylvia Herlein:@ Oksana, not necessarily, is more like knowledgeable about ICANN world Icann for inside and outside our Ralos
Wolf Ludwig:Come on, Oksana, the WCIT issue is a political, the language question a cultural one!
Darlene Thompson:I think that's great.  We need more cross-participation between the Fellowship program and our own cpaacity building programs
  Sylvia Herlein:agreed
  Darlene Thompson:I think that's a good idea
Silvia Vivanco:The issue came up in the ASO-AC Chairs in Prague and San Jose and it was suggested
Heidi Ullrich:@Darlene, I didn't get what you suggested
Heidi Ullrich:Was there some homework you wanted the RALO leaders to do?
  Heidi Ullrich:Thanks!
Wolf Ludwig:MS meeting outcome' Doesn't say much to me?
  Heidi Ullrich:Maybe next steps?
Wolf Ludwig:The Summit only as a *preliminary* meeting!
Heidi Ullrich:Wolf, the roundtable is only called Multistakeholder as there will be people from the various groups
Heidi Ullrich:the roundtable has two themes:
Heidi Ullrich:Theme: New gTLDs and Implications for the Asian-Australasian-Pacific Region
Heidi Ullrich:Theme: Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) and Implications for the Asian-Australasian-Pacific region.
Oksana Prykhodko:I would like to repeat once again that in Russian the concept of multistakehoderism is nearly absent(
  Darlene Thompson:Interesting Oksana
Darlene Thompson:I think that talking about CB is important - as Wolf says, a brief briefing on best practices.  Then each region can use what it chooses to.  Yes, Wolf - not too long
Heidi Ullrich:There will be a meeting of the Capacity Building WG on Monday in Beijing.
Oksana Prykhodko:I am out of  call(
Julia Charvolen:opeartor is dialing out to you Oksana
  Eduardo Diaz:Bye
  Sylvia Herlein:tks you
  Heidi Ullrich:Bye!
  José Arce:Thanks all !!!! Bye
  Sylvia Herlein:see you soon
  Silvia Vivanco:Thank you all
