Nigel Hickson: (11:38) Workshop is 16.30hrs on Thursday

Marilyn Cade: (11:42) sorry, who is proposed from business? or did you mean contracted party ?

Marilyn Cade: (11:43) right, great to have Lori.

judith Hellerstein: (11:43) I think he said Lori Shulman

judith Hellerstein: (11:44) @hadia, will you be there?

Marilyn Cade: (11:44) Lori is IP. not business. I can see if Ben Wallis, Microsoft, who will be there.

  +201003300867: (11:44) @Judith no i won't be there

judith Hellerstein: (11:44) BEn is on the call

Marilyn Cade: (11:44) Just one comment about remote participation experience when I moderated.

Ben Wallis: (11:45) Hi, I've just joined and don't yet have audio. I will be at WSIS Forum but will be speaking at another panel at 16:30 on Thursday 11th, so won't be able to get to the CCWG-IG session unfortunately

Marilyn Cade: (11:45) Can we confirm that you can moderate, Olivier?

Marilyn Cade: (11:45) Opps, Ben is on the call now, so we can ask him directly!!! apologies I didn't give you a heads up, BBen..

+201003300867: (11:46) @Marilyn ben just said that he won't be able to be on the session

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: (11:48) @Marilyn: I am available to moderate. I do not know if I have the qualifications to moderate - that's your call

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: (11:48) @Ben: that is unfortunate

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: (11:48) so we'll need to find other speakers for the Business Constituency

Marilyn Cade: (11:51) Is there a designated speaker from the Technical group? I wasn't sure about that.

judith Hellerstein: (11:53) Great thanks Nigel

Marilyn Cade: (11:53) Yes, support to Nigel's suggestion to have a speaker from that technical group. Technical Study Group.

  Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: (11:54) https://community.icann.org/display/CPMMB/Internet+Governance+Forum

Nigel Hickson: (11:56) IGF Call; https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.intgovforum.org_multilingual_content_igf-2D2019-2Dcall-2Dfor-2Dworkshop-2Dproposals-2D0&d=DwIFaQ&c=FmY1u3PJp6wrcrwll3mSVzgfkbPSS6sJms7xcl4I5cM&r=9WY3SEaX7p0GM2j8LdVMOLllIH_waB8KN1B6xX6Bzfw&m=24sV1kfq1lgTSw7Mj05S5exsie1SRcDBlFQO30HKIDg&s=oTQygOPPPCJ4ajmtV6v9TqI-H1DoGwKHvoNSxa7WIEM&e=

judith Hellerstein: (11:57) @marilyn can you mute. It shows you as having an open line

Marilyn Cade: (11:57) We have to focus in on the three topical areas prioritized by the MAG. So, for a workshop -- we should be sure that we are taking into account that focus.

judith Hellerstein: (11:58) Whoever has a dog barking can they please mute

+201003300867: (11:59) @Judith sorry my dog was barking while I was speaking

Veni Markovski: (11:59) May be the dog can sense Marilyn's cat??

judith Hellerstein: (11:59) @veni very prescient

Veni Markovski: (12:00) the other two are security and inclusiveness.

Veni Markovski: (12:01) agree with Marilyn about the UN approach. Here's some articles FYI:

Peter Major: (12:02) I agree with Mailyn's proposal

Marilyn Cade: (12:06) SSR is a high priority  these days -- including risks, threats, etc. As the ITU sometimes thinks that Internet security needs more government, I'd love us to focus on the SSR topic.

Marilyn Cade: (12:07) Should we be asking for a paragraph or two to describe each option so it is not sent without background?

judith Hellerstein: (12:08) Good Idea Marilyn

+201003300867: (12:08) @Marilyn sure threats, risks, mitigation, etc...

Marilyn Cade: (12:15) I have a few ideas -- for anyone who might want to join a small drafting effort. I would welcome that.

Ron da Silva: (12:16) hi MC

+201003300867: (12:17) @Marilyn i could join the small drafting group

Ron da Silva: (12:18) right Leon chairs.. BWGIG or something like that.. Board workging group on   internteet governance.. i'm on that wg too

Marilyn Cade: (12:19) If you want to join a drafting on SSR workshop, i am marilynscade@hotmail.com

Ben Wallis: (12:21) On the workshop proposal, I will send Olivier and Nigel a document template they can work from, incorporating the various guidance provided by the IGF secretariat. I'd already pulled it together for colleagues so they could draft up a proposal offline, and it might be helpful for the CCWG-IG which will also need to work offline before uploading the contents of a proposal into the webform.

+201003300867: (12:22) Hadia: @Olivier i agree to your proposal on the way forward

Peter Major: (12:25) It's reasonable to have f2f meeting only

judith Hellerstein: (12:25) Thanks Ben that would be helpful

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: (12:26) @Ben: that would be great. Thank you very much.

Marilyn Cade: (12:28) Very helpful, Ben. So, we can have two drafts  - one on the EPDP phase II and one on SSR? and we need to set a date of only a few days for the first draft, so that it can go to the full CCWG for consultation.  We can't wait until that last minute to get approval across the participants and then submit. Can we agree on getting mini drafts i by maybe April  4?

  judith Hellerstein: (12:30) Great chairing

Marilyn Cade: (12:30) Congratulations by the way, Nigel for that collaorative capacity building workshop you just referenced.

Peter Major: (12:30) Thanks everyone. Bye

+201003300867: (12:31) thank you -bye all
