2 - Finalizing the agenda of the IG Public Session being held on Thursday, February 12th from 11:15 to 12:30

TOPIC 1: 40% of total time on NMI and other IG updates = 30 minutes 

TOPIC 2: 60% of total time Relation between staff and the community regarding IG ecosystem topics = 45 minutes

Depending on the type of room we'll have, we'll need to see if we have people on a head table or sitting on the round table or in the audience. We have asked for a U-shape but this is yet to be confirmed by the meetings Team.

TOPIC 1

Panel discussion with the Audience on NMI & other IG updates

Proposed people on the panel:

  • Wolfgang Kleinwaechter (Special Ambassador to the Initiative)
  • Janis Karklins
  • Kathy Brown (ISOC)
  • Ambassador Benedicto Fonseca (Brazil)

We aim to keep the panel very small. No presentation slides. Max speaking time 2 minutes ~which makes 10 minutes of panellists speaking. An update of what happened at the WEF would be welcome and the audience would be encouraged to ask questions on the topics of NMI and other IG topics.

We need to think of invitations for people to be on the panel.

3 - Finalizing the agenda of the CCWG IG F2F Working Session begin held on Monday, February 9th from 16:30 to 17:45

Proposed topics (with name of proposer in brackets):

1-    Address the relationship between the Community and ICANN staff on IG ecosystem in this session as well. (Marilyn)

2-    Understanding how the CCWG on IG membership is organized according to the Charter (Olivier) – revise to allow observers who haven’t been nominated by SO/AC/SG (Marilyn).

3-    Look at calendar of forthcoming activities and plan for the next session of topics until the June ICANN meeting (Olivier)

4-    Plan the June ICANN meeting in BA and request from staff a specific slot for the F2F CCWG IG (Marilyn)

5-   Preparing the IG Public Session (if it happens after the F2F session)- (Olivier).

It was also suggested that an update on NetMundial & IGF could be undertaken but concerns were expressed that this might serve double duty with the Public Session, so this suggestion was not retained.
