Launched in The Gambia in 2012, the Summit consists of seminars, workshops, tutorials, conference sessions, birds-of-a-feather (BOFs), and other forums for sharing ICT knowledge within the African region. What are the goals for the trip and Outcomes:



-Promote  AFRALO to the  non profits organizations and to all stakeholders in Africa ;

-distribute  AFRALO/ICANN materials 

-AFRALO Co-Captain booth

-Give a presentation as Panelist at event a theme "African implications in IG ecosystem in global and ICANN/ALAC/AFRALO particularly 

-Networking with membership

-Outreach to potential ALS and Recruit individual members (focus on participants from countries where AFRALO has no ALS)

- Engage and interact with attendees about the importance to join AFRALO and ICANN (more focus on african youth to have more new blood in ICANN)

-Raised awareness and understanding about AFRALO and ICANN 

-Increased participation by the African community in ICANN activities due to their better understanding of how ICANN policy development works and how to protect end-users;

-If possible we will visit and do a briefly presentation about ICANN/AFRALO and how to be involve with fellowship/ Nextgen Programm to the ESMT(École Supérieure des Multimédias Et de télécommunications)Student in Dakar in partnership with our local ALS .
