10) Purpose and Goals:

An ideal event for civil society outreach, as all participants are already focussed on Internet rights issues. Event includes ICANN sponsored discussion of IANA Transition, as well as numerous discussions relevant to ongoing ICANN discussion such as relevance of human rights to ICANN processes.

11) Proposed Outcomes:Regionally focussed civil society outreach for new members of NCUC/NCSG, and presence of ICANN civil society community voices in ICANN related discussion.

Travel dates requested may be possibly extended if successful able to register for some side events. This may not necessarily involved change to ICANN travel funding.
