ccNSO Liaison Report
1. The deadline for Geographic Regions Report comments was 9 July. A summing up will be available in mid July.
2. The joint ccNSO-GAC issues report on IDNs was adopted by ccNSO in San Juan. It will be sent(sent already?) to the Board.
3. APTLD Position Paper (available now at www.aptld.org) has been supported by CENTR and awaits comments by LACTLD and AFTLD within 3 weeks. ccNSO is in favor of adopting this as its own position paper as well. This was the proposal for fast-track insertion of one IDN ccTLD per ccTLD in the root.
4. There was considerable discussion on the signing of the root for DNSSec. Discussion will continue in Los Angeles.
