The GNSO Reserved Names Working Group is seeking to create a definition of "character" that can be used by ICANN in the new evaluation of new gTLDs. This definition will help with the consideration of IDN TLDs. The recommendations of the Reserved Names Working Group will be incorporated into the GNSO new gTLD process, and provided to the GAC and ccNSO for their consideration.
