ALS Survey December 2008

A community-wide survey on top policy issues held in December 2008 led to the following results:

  1. At-Large engagement in ICANN (Including goals, organization (ALS, RALO, ALAC), reviews, strategic planning, Individual Internet users participation, etc.)
  2. The Future Structure and Governance of ICANN (the Improving Institutional Confidence process)
  3. New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs) including IDN gTLDs
  4. ICANN Transparency and Accountability
  5. DNS Security Issues within ICANN’s Remit
  6. Internationalised Domain Names (IDNs) and ccTLDs
  7. IPv4 to IPv6 Migration (issues related to end-users)
  8. Registrant/Registrar Relations (including the renegotiation of the Registrar Accreditation Agreement)
  9. ICANN Geographic Regions
  10. Country Code Top-Level Domains (ccTLDs)
