Heidi Ullrich: Anticipated Questions (if you know likely questions ahead of time, include them with answers here) What are your views about the purpose of ALAC/At-Large within ICANN? Answer As I have noted on several occasions, At-Large and the interests of end users are actually the group that I identify most strongly with given my backgroundThe excellent work of At-Large through the nearly 2 years of work in the At-Large Review has demonstrated the growth and maturity of the At-Large community. You have shown the continuing purpose of the ALAC and all of At-Large to represent the best interests of end users within ICANN. As you move forward with the Implementation of the Review, I look forward to watching this vibrant community grow even more in their focus on producing policy advice, engaging directly in the policy development process, and engaging in outreach to ensure the perspective of the end user is heard. Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: BTW if I want to be strict about this, and I think we really should, then the GAC questions workspace is desperately empty https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+ICANN62+GAC+Questions+Workspace

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: so basically the At-Large space is unfortunately rather empty at present. When is this going to be updated?

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: We are still working out of https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/ICANN62+-+Panama+City+Meeting+-+June+2018 aren't we?

John Laprise (ALAC): ALAC experience with the reviews has been bad but that isn't neccessarily the broader case. In light of our most recent experience, the problem is with the reviewers  their qualifications and  methods

 --------------------------------------------------- (06/28/2018 09:26) ---------------------------------------------------

Bartlett Morgan: I agree John

 --------------------------------------------------- (06/28/2018 09:28) ---------------------------------------------------

Bartlett Morgan: Also, the *bad* review forced us to think deeply about our situation and in effect was a de facto internal review anyway

 --------------------------------------------------- (06/28/2018 09:29) ---------------------------------------------------

Bartlett Morgan: *in effect resulted in a de facto review
