Taskforce call of 30 January 2012

Attendees: Cheryl Langdon-Orr, Dev Anand Teelucksingh, Sergio Salinas Porto, Yrjo Lansipuro, Olivier Crepin Leblond, Titi (end of the call)
Apology: Natalia Enciso
Staff: Seth Greene, Matt Ashtiani, Gisella Gruber, Heidi Ullrich, Silvia Vivanco

SG: There are various options of when the review can be repeated. 1 - We can have a the review upon the decision of the ALAC. 2 - We can have it once a year (i.e. every Jan). 3 - A bi-annual cycle every two years.

CLO: @Seth - I thought your recommendation was every two years.

DAT: Once every two years is quite adequate.

A vote was called. Most volunteers agreed that a review every two years is best.

A vote was called to determine if the review should be every Jan or before each AGM.

Approved text: The ALAC has determined that, for this action item to be effective, it must be performed on a recurring schedule.  The item has been completed previously on XXXXXXX, and the ALAC and ICANN Staff

Rec 5 - Metrics
CLO: As a taskforce we may need to think about what these metric will consist of.

TBJ: We need to work with regional leadership to discuss Metrics, it cannot only be discussed within the Taskforce.

CLO:We need to initiate, develop, and maintain an institutional knolwedge database for At-Large
AI: Staff to ensure that, before the Costa Rica meeting, we have the original 2007 documentation and reporting linked to a single page.

YL - Many of the Internet's founders are still with us. I recommend that we work with them to record their experiences, histories, and knowledge.

OCL: I recommend that we work with the various ICANN Departments to ensure that all knowledge is maintained, not just At-Large information.
