Background
According to the APRALO Organizing Documents, each APRALO vice chairperson elected will serve for a period of two years.
The current APRALO Vice Chairs are Holly Raiche whose term ends on 30th June 2013, and Fouad Bajwa whose term ends on 30th June 2012.

The APRALO Secretariat has asked interested ALS representatives to put forward their candidatures by 18 May 2012.

Election Timetable
April 23 - At Large Staff will announce elections and call for nominations.
April 23 - May 18 - Nomination period (nominations accepted for 4 weeks).
May 24 - Deadline for nomination acceptances (nominees must accept nominations no later than seven days after the nomination period ends on May 18).
May 28 - June 7 - Elections (elections begin no later than one week after the deadline for nomination acceptances and end no later than two weeks after that deadline).
July 1- Newly elected APRALO Vice Chair takes their seat.
Mr. Fouad Bajwa was elected Vice Chair by acclamation. Period July 1, 2012- July 30, 2014.
