ICANN Org WSIS+20 Fact Sheet Series
As part of the WSIS+20 outreach network’s commitment to providing comprehensive and accessible information, we’re happy to launch a new factsheet series on Internet-related topics. The first edition focuses on the WSIS+20 Review [go.icann.org]. The next one to be published will be on ‘ The Multistakeholder Model of Internet Governance’, to be published by end of the month.
These factsheets are designed to be essential resources, offering clear and concise background information on various aspects of Internet governance. By breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand, 101-style insights, they help individuals grasp key messages and develop a solid understanding of these important topics.

WSIS+20 Discussion Group
Purpose
The WSIS+20 Discussion Group will serve as a conduit for the ICANN organization and the ICANN community to discuss and coordinate approaches to explain, promote, and defend the multistakeholder model of Internet governance in the context of the WSIS+20 review process. The discussion group will provide a platform for information exchange and shared understanding between the ICANN organization and ICANN community on matters related to the WSIS+20 review process. This may include the development of consistent messaging for use with stakeholders of the WSIS+20 review process to bolster the credibility of the technical community and ensure its successful, continued engagement in the evolving global Internet governance landscape.
Timing:
September 2024 through the conclusion of the WSIS+20 Review process.
