I engage in legal work. I am a Director and a practicing attorney at the Singapore foreign legal practice of Soroker Agmon Nordman Pte Ltd. I practice as a United States (NY) and as an Israeli foreign attorney in Singapore specializing in intellectual property law. I am also affiliated with the Israeli law firm of Soroker Agmon Nordman, Advocates & Patent Attorneys. My practice includes complex litigation in both intellectual property and commercial matters and prosecution of patents, trademarks, designs and other IP rights, in the United States, Singapore and Israel. I advise clients on domain name matters and on enforcement of IP rights on the Internet. Before becoming an attorney I was a computer programmer. As a result, throughout my studies, I took special interest in the interaction between the law, the Internet and the domain names system. In 1996, during my graduate studies at the George Washington University School of Law, together with two colleagues, I authored a web site titled “What’s in a Name?” discussing the intersection between trademark law and domain names. My interests with software and the Internet have led me to specialize, among other things in trademarks and domain names and to develop a practice relating to patents where I specialize, among others, in software, Internet and business related inventions). I have been serving on the Israeli UDRP-IL domain names Advisory Committee Panels (ACPs) since its inception in 1999, sitting on most of the early cases. I still serve as an active and independent domain name panellist for the ISOC-IL ACPs. Since 2008 I also serve as an independent domain name panellist with WIPO (UDRP), the National Arbitration Forum (UDRP/URS) and the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC) (UDRP). My working knowledge of Chinese and fluency in Hebrew have allowed me to serve as an independent domain name panellist in cases requiring an understanding in these languages. I am a member of various Intellectual Property organisations, such as INTA, APAA, ECTA and PTMG. I currently serve as the Secretary of the Internet Committee of ECTA (European Communities Trademarks Association). I am a member in good standing of the Israeli and the New York bars and I am admitted to practice before all the courts and the Patents & Trademark Authority in Israel and before several courts in the United States, including the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Federal Claims.
