Kimberly Carlson:sorry no slide
Kimberly Carlson:here is the link: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__community.icann.org_pages_viewpage.action-3FpageId-3D64081623&d=DwICaQ&c=FmY1u3PJp6wrcrwll3mSVzgfkbPSS6sJms7xcl4I5cM&r=GKmFfRII4Fu5R2rvaGzd2eqNVicqdIuGnamKqfKpp0hrH9ye_zt36pZ_ZlAuB8NR&m=1AKYaYDWwGxcA9bRj5Dz4mEW4Z7hmWTRXQaiap5Z9Qg&s=dGatFtC1jO8qtEcDds7M_egB6wbCSK_8aHDpnhcE2Is&e=
Liz ccnso:Sounds seems to have died...
el:I now remember, we were to talk to our GAC reps. I didn't see mine, so I briefed the AT rep
Liz ccnso:my apologies...AC logged out.
Kimberly Carlson:FYI - Nigel is on audio only
Peter Koch (DE):yes, pls share the pictures, memory's fading
Svitlana Tkachenko:Hello. I'm sorry for late connection
el:Everybody please mute!
Kimberly Carlson:Barrack on audio only as well
Nick Wenban-Smith, Nominet:no questions from me - seems clear
Liz ccnso:really nice work thanks Bart
Brent Carey:for readibility could we colour code where the groups are the same?
Nick Wenban-Smith, Nominet:that's a nice idea Brent
Liz ccnso:Sorry about that...I am right beside the microphone...
Nick Wenban-Smith, Nominet:from memory there was a high degree of overlap and few ideas which only one group really put forward
Liz ccnso:Could Bart just give us a quick overview of the narrative for documents. I liked how we did the document review in the sessions and it seems now that we can start putting some flesh on the bones of the ideas?
Brent Carey:yes, overlaps where there is agreement can we have a legend and colours..
Brent Carey:ok... if consolidate then that will work...
el:Is there a way of increasing the font size in the chat?
el:It's really difficult to read.
Peter Koch (DE):combination is good, but identical key words might carry slightly different messages, therefore i'd appreciate the opportunity to add a bit of text during theupcoming comment period
Peter Koch (DE):add text in prose, not to the mindmap, though
Stephen Deerhake:Happy to accept whatever text you provide.
Peter Koch (DE):Bart'smentioning of 'headlines' clarified in the right direction already, tnx
el:Ah, found it, the icon on the top right of the chat has a pulldown
Liz ccnso:Thanks very much Bart...I also agree with Peter on adding text in prose not cluttering up the mindmaps.
el:Liz, the text can be added inside the MindMap in a way that will not show up on the image.
el:Once the outline is finalized, we can start adding text to the sections
Liz ccnso:@el ... thanks for that...I don't use mindmaps often and am not expert at it...
el:I am starting to like the concept, especially that I can automate the generation of outlines
Peter Koch (DE):see above, I'd feel more confident to comment based on the pictures in front of me (provided I can still read my own writing ...)
el:I have a pharmacist close by, wheo can read my handwriting, and she'll be able to hel you :-)-O
Liz ccnso:@stephen...are we continuing to do the call rotation that we agreed in Panama. Just checking on that.
Kimberly Carlson:@Liz - next call is 30 August at 18:00 UTC
el:Liz, we always do what we agreed on :-)-O
el:Allan, that ain't happening
Kim Davies:Without arguing language semantics, if you want to adhere to the ISO 3166-1 standard, there needs to be some mechanism to compel adherence to it
el:Kim, I agree
Stephen Deerhake:But how do you apply it to non-ccNSO members?
Peter Koch (DE):there is no policing of 3166-1 outside the respective "user" (of the standard)
Brent Carey:eloborating on Allan's point also what if someone want's to opt-in to our process.
Kimberly Carlson:20 October, Saturday
Kimberly Carlson:4 and 5 blocks
el:audio is cyutting out, I missed most of Bart's intervention
el:But it'll be in the notes :-)-O
Brent Carey:thanks bart
Brent Carey:also stephen APTLD is 20th Sept..
Brent Carey:any other members impacted by that?
Kimberly Carlson:only time we could find to be as non-conflicted as possible, and still give the group two back to back blocks
Joke Braeken:nothing from me, thank you!
Bart Boswinkel:Bye all
Kimberly Carlson:thanks all, bye
Joke Braeken:Bye all.
jaap akkerhuis:Bye all
