Gregory F. Treverton is a highly experienced international political economist, both in the private sector and government, most recently as Chairman of the National Intelligence Council. Currently, he is the Chairman at the Global TechnoPolitics Forum, a senior adviser with the Transnational Threats Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and a professor of the practice of international relations and Spatial Sciences at the University of Southern California. In addition, he serves as a board advisor and distinguished fellow for various organizations and is the author of three dozen books and several hundred articles or chapters. He holds an AB summa cum laude from Princeton University and an MPP (Master’s in Public Policy) and Ph.D. in economics and politics from Harvard.
