First two days 20, 21 of March will be LACNIC on the move and the 22th will be Roadshow with activity of the ISOC Guatemala Chapter.

Proposed goal and Outcome:
Goal: Outreach to civil society attending the LACNIC on the move and the Roadshow about LACRALO and how to become an ALS.
Outcome: The 2 months after the event have an ALS from Guatemala.
Activities:
  • Presentation at the LAC-I Roadshow to civil Society about What is ICANN At-Large, what we do and how to participate in and join At-Large.
  • one to one meeting with Guatemala's ISOC Chapter.

 

Engagement/Outreach including broadening awareness of ICANN in targeted regional areas (e.g., under-represented).

Recruitment including formal/informal invitations to become involved in ICANN stakeholder communities, working groups, and/or fellowship programs.

Fulfillment of documented Outreach Strategic Plans and/or ICANN Regional Strategies.

Knowledge Sharing including intentions to extend learnings within and among ICANN stakeholder communities.

11) Additional Information (optional):

The LAC-i-Roadshow is one of the projects of the LAC Strategy, a strategy that was developed by the different stakeholder groups represented at ICANN from the LAC region. It is designed to raise awareness across the region on key topics related to the DNS critical infrastructure such as the transition to IPv6, SSR (Security, Stability and Resiliency) and the impact of the new gTLD program.
