10 November AFRALO UA Discussion call

  •  Yaovi Atohoun Seda Akbulut to send the UA session Agenda to At-Large staff by Monday November 14th.
  • Seda Akbulut and Pitinan Kooarmornpatana will send PPTs and quizzes (if any) to At-Large staff by Tuesday November 15th.
  •   Yaovi Atohoun to add the UA DAY to the AFRALO UA Agenda.
  • Abdulkarim Ayopo Oloyede, Seda Akbulut to follow up with UASG regarding the certificate of participation to participants who complete 2 sessions.
  • Michelle Desmyter and Yesim Nazlar will review registrations from the May 10 session and check if there are new registrations for the upcoming Nov 17 session and will make a list of people who have registered to both sessions.
  • Bob Ochiengto follow up with the ICANN Communications department to request  ICANN org tweet can re-post the UA session poster and announcement.

24 August AFRALO UA Discussion call 

  • Yaovi Atohoun will send an email to AFRALO leaders and this group with the key  Universal Acceptance activities during ICANN 75. 
  • Yaovi Atohoun  will confirm the Agenda, dates/times for the UA session by September 5th. The second session will be held between October 25-27. Suggested same time as first session 13:30-15 UTC  )
  • Yaovi Atohounwill send Bios and speakers photos to the social media WG can prepare promotional materials.
  • Bukola Oronti and AFRALO Social media group will prepare promotional materials (flyers and social media posts). Social media promotion shall start during ICANN 75
  • Silvia Vivanco to create a google doc with the announcement for the next UA session 
  • Yesim Nazlar will prepare a zoom registration link (once the session date and time are set).
  • Yesim NazlarYesim will schedule the UA AFRALO session for 90 mins and will send invitations to participants in the first session. Session will have FR interpretation. 


05 May 2022 AFRALO UA Discussion Call

  • Yesim Nazlar Michelle Desmyter to open the zoom room 30 minutes before the call so all speakers can join for audio and PPT, quiz tests.
  • Michelle Desmyter and Yesim Nazlar to check if zoom can send a reminder to all the pre-registered participants 1 hr before the event, (including  paragraph with instructions on pre-registration in ICANN learn.
  • Seun Ojedeji to send a third reminder to the AFRALO mailing list encouraging people to attend the course.

  •  Yaovi Atohoun to share the PPTs and specific quizz questions with Silvia, Yesim Nazlar and Michelle, so the PPTs can be uploaded by Monday 09 as well as all quizzes.

  • Yesim Nazlar to schedule a debriefing call on the Universal Acceptance training course. Yesim Nazlar to send a doodle for a call to be scheduled during the week of May 16 offering 15,16 UTC times.  

  • Sarah Kiden, Bukola Oronti to do one more social media post and let staff know of any other social media posts so we can share.

  • Michelle Desmyter to include the  information (paragraph) with information on ICANN LEARN UA course with the AFRALOUA code so it can be shared with the zoom registration and people already registered and sent to new registrations.

  • Yesim Nazlar to send calendar invites to all speakers to join zoom 1/2 hr before to test lines, ppts and quizz Yaovi, Pitinan Koormornpatana, Seda Akbulut, Pierre Dandijonou. 

20 April 2022 AFRALO UA Discussion call 

  • Yaovi Atohoun will send the PPT, background documents to be posted on the May 10 Training session Agenda page.
  • Yaovi Atohoun to send all quizzes and polls to staff so they can be posted in the meeting page in advance of the webinar.
  • Silvia Vivanco to connect with ICANN learn staff on what information can be provided to take the course and to send information to Bukola.
  • Sarah Kiden and Bukola to include UASG social media handles to promote the event.
  • Yaovi Atohoun to provide the French version of the Program.
  • Yaovi Atohoun to touch base with Comms department (Luna) to inquire if course can be promoted via ICANN org official social media channels.
  • Seun Ojedeji to prepare a second draft announcement to be sent out to the mailing list after the April 28 Webinar.
  • Yaovi Atohoun  to get in touch with Seda so the AFRALO UA Program can be added to the ICANN org Regional Universal Acceptance website.
  • Yesim Nazlar to send a doodle to the group for a follow up call offering Monday May 2, 3 and 5 offering 17, 18,19 UTC times.

06 April 2022 AFRALO UA Discussion call 

  • Yaovi Atohoun will send the UA Program details to Silvia to be posted on the project  wiki page
  • Yaovi Atohoun will confirm the tentative date of May 10th at 18:30 UTC for 90 mins for the first training session by tomorrow Thursday 7 April. 
  • Sarah Kiden, Bukola Oronti and members of the AFRALO social media WG will prepare a draft promotional flyer "Save the date" and will share it to the group by April 11 once the date is confirmed by Yaovi.
  • Yesim Nazlar and Michelle Desmyter will prepare a ZOOM pre-registration form so all participants can pre-register, once the date is confirmed. 
  • Yesim Nazlar and Michelle Desmyter will reserve the AFRALO Universal Acceptance training session with FR interpretation  date May 10 at 18:30 UTC. 
  • Yesim Nazlar to set up the next AFRALO UA Discussion call for Wed April 20th at 18:30 UTC.
  • Abdalmonem Galila to share a model certificate with the organizing team.

03 March 2022 AFRALO UA Discussion Call

  • Bram Fudzulani and Seun Ojedeji will  get in contact of the co-chair of the AFRALO social media Working group and others to include them in this project to lead the social media campaign.

  • Seun Ojedejiand Bram Fudzulani will let Silvia know the names of  AFRALO members  who need to be added to this organizing group. They will be invited to the next call.

  • Silvia Vivanco and Yaovi Atohoun will get in touch with ICANN learn colleagues to inquire if the ICANN learn platform can report on participants who have completed the course.

  • Yaovi Atohoun to connect with staff, Sarmad Hussain and Seda Akbulut to work on the courses contents and determine the courses dates.
  • Yaovi Atohounwill structure the course in 2 modules, 1) Assessment - interactive module, 90 mins. 2) Second module will be tailored to the end users needs. 
  • Yaovi Atohoun to let this organizing committee re instructors names, contents and courses dates. It was agreed to start during the week of April 11 and onwards, subject to coordination with speakers.
  •  Yesim Nazlar will create a draft registration form once the course's dates are set.
  • Abdalmonem Galila will contact UASG with the question if a course certificate can be issued. 
  • Yesim Nazlarto schedule a follow up call on Tuesday March 15 at 16:00 UTC, invited members of AFRALO Social media group as well.
